Rafael Benitez committed his future to Liverpool on Thursday even though he has yet to sign a new contract.
The Spanish manager, a reported target for both Real Madrid and Inter Milan, said: 'I am happy here and I will stay here. I have no problems with being here.
'My aim is to stay here and continue growing with the team and the board,' Benitez told reporters.
'We will try to win the Premiership title next season,' said Benitez, who steered Liverpool to a surprise fifth European Cup success last year in his first season at the club.
'We are talking about my future and we are close (to agreeing a new contract).

But the most important thing is that I want to stay here.
'I have never demanded anything from the board like transfer money. We are working hard with the scouting department and will carry on doing that.'
Benitez admitted he was pleased to see his name linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs.
'When a big club talks about your future, you must be proud and it shows we are doing a good job at Liverpool,' he said.
'If you are a bad manager and not winning trophies people will not talk about you. The talk means Liverpool are doing well.'
Liverpool's board are trying to find new investors to help fund more signings.
Benitez has made it known he wants to bring new faces to Anfield as he rebuilds the team.
'The board know I want to improve and are trying to find some investors. If we have investors it will be better.'

Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), a global manufacturer of transportation and aerospace-related products and the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that it would submit a homologation application to the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) for the finely tuned new Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C to rally as a Group N vehicle in 2006*.
To enter FIA-approved racing and rallying championships that take place around the world, cars must be homologated according to the FIA regulations. Group N (production cars) is one of the rally and off-road vehicle groups set forth by the FIA. Defined as large-scale series production touring cars, Group N homologation imposes strict limits on modifications to production models and is known as the category that best reflects the performance inherent to the basic production model.
WRX STI spec C is very suitable for racing due to its lightened body and high performance engine. Therefore, the application embodies the company’s plan to position this model as a key competitor in motorsport activities for 2005 and beyond. Last year, Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C ”WR-Limited 2004” was applied for the FIA homologation.
FHI will produce more than 1,000 units of the Impreza WRX STI spec C during 2005, which is the minimum level of production required for Group N classification, and the company is planning to have the vehicle homologated before the 2006 rally season begins.
Major Features of the finely tuned new Impreza WRX STI spec C
Compared to the Impreza WRX STI, Impreza WRX STI spec C is about 70 kilograms lighter through the adaptation of lighter glass, a trunk lid composed of aluminum, and thinner roof construction.
Reinforcing braces have been added to the front strut tower on the WRX STI spec C. In addition, the solid bars used to connect the front pillar and upper frame have been replaced by enhanced hollow bars and rigidity of chassis have been improved
A rear crossbar has been fitted to further improve body rigidity.
The turbocharger in the Impreza WRX STI spec C uses precise ball bearings in the shaft to reduce friction, thereby offering a smooth and speedy turbo boost and providing ideal engine response.
A large water reservoir for the intercooler water spray as well as an air-cooled engine oil cooler have been implemented to ensure stable engine performance.
* Applicable 17inch tire specification only

Now it seems to me
That you know just what to say
But words are only words
Can you show me something else

Can you swear to me that you?ll always be this way?
Show me how you feel
More than ever baby

Well I don?t want to be lonely no more
I don?t want to have to pay for this
I don?t want another lover at my door
It?s just another heartache on my list

I don?t wanna be angry no more
You?re the one who could never stand for this
So when you tell me that you love me, know for sure
I don?t wanna be lonely anymore

Ooooh Oooooh Oooooh Ooooh
Now it?s hard for me
When my heart?s still on the mend
Open up to me
Like you do your girlfriends
And you sing to me
And it?s harmony
Girl what you do to me is everything
Let me say anything just to get you back again
Why can?t we just try?

I don?t want to be lonely no more
I don?t want to have to pay for this
I don?t want another lover at my door
It?s just another heartache on my list

I don?t wanna be angry no more
You?re the one who could never stand for this
So when you tell me that you love me, know for sure
I don?t wanna be lonely anymore

Ooooh Oooooh Oooooh Ooooh

What if I was good to you?

What if you were good to me?
What if I could hold you till I feel you move inside of me?
What if it was paradise?
What if we were symphonies?
What if I gave all my life to find some way to stand beside you?

I don?t want to be lonely no more
I don?t want to have to pay for this
I don?t want another lover at my door
It?s just another heartache on my list

I don?t wanna be angry no more
You?re the one who could never stand for this
So when you tell me that you love me, know for sure
I don?t wanna be lonely any more

Ooooh Oooooh Oooooh Ooooh

I don?t wanna be lonely any more
I don?t wanna be lonely no more

Duhai kekasih pujaan hatiku
Apakah kau memberiku satu arti
Sedikit rasa yang bisa kumengerti
Bukan sumpah atau janji

Buktikanlah bila ada cinta
Setulus hatimu bisa menerima
Sebatas kejujuran yang kau miliki
Bukan sekedar bersama

Jujurlah padaku bila kau tak lagi cinta
Tinggalkan aku
Bila tak mungkin bersama
Jauhi diriku lupakanlah aku
Hooo Hooo

Jujurlah padaku bila kau tak lagi suka
Tinggalkan aku
Bila tak mungkin bersama
Jauhi diriku lupakanlah aku

RAFA PRAISES STRIKERS AFTER FULHAM ROUT

No Comment - Post a comment

Rafael Benitez was full of praise for his strikers after seeing Robbie Fowler, Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch all get on the scoresheet in the 5-1 thrashing of Fulham at Anfield.
The Liverpool manager always maintained he had confidence that his strikers would come good and start getting amongst the goals and his faith was repaid in style on a freezing cold night at Anfield.
"It was a fantastic game for the strikers and the team and it was very important for us to see them score," enthused Benitez.
"It was good to see Robbie Fowler, Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch all score and the assists of Djibril Cisse and it is very important for their confidence.
"It has given me a nice selection problem for the next game but a good one. This was a really important three points for us and my idea is to get another three points at Newcastle in the next game on Sunday."
Although Benitez didn't want to single out any of his strikers on a night when everything came together, he couldn't hide his delight in seeing Fowler finally break his duck since returning to the club.
"We were all waiting for Robbie to score his first goal back at Liverpool and it was a reward for his hard work," he said. "It was good for the supporters, the team and Robbie for him to score."
While Benitez wanted to talk about the game, there was only one thing the press wanted to ask him - whether he'd signed a new contract at Anfield, as suggested in the Spanish media.
"We are talking and my relationship with the board and the fans is fantastic," responded Benitez. "We don't have problems and I am very happy here. We are talking about the future."
To find out how the press tried to pin the Reds boss down and how Benitez batted away their questions with great humour, make sure you watch the post-match press conference.

LIVERPOOL 5 - 1 FULHAM

No Comment - Post a comment

Robbie Fowler struck his first goal for the club since his January return as Liverpool rediscovered the goalscoring touch to bounce back from their recent disappointments with a welcome 5-1 home win over Fulham on Wednesday night.
Fowler set the Reds on the way with a 16th minute header and in doing so became the first Anfield striker to score in the league this year. Collins John levelled for the visitors but an own goal by Michael Brown redressed the balance before half-time and second half strikes from Fernando Morientes, Peter Crouch and Stephen Warnock sealed the emphatic rout.
Having failed to register a win in their previous two Premiership outings this fixture was being dubbed a 'must-win' for the Reds by those who made their way to Anfield on what was a freezing cold night and, with Manchester United pulling away in second place and the momentum of the club's chasing a coveted top four finish gathering by the week, there could be no denying the importance of the game.
Maximum points were essential, no matter how it was achieved, and against a visiting team that had failed to win away all season Liverpool were hot favourites to avenge their 2-0 loss at Craven Cottage back in November.
Rafael Benitez shuffled his pack once again for the visit of a lowly Fulham side that was last on Merseyside as recently as Saturday, when they crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Everton. With lack of goals from the front men becoming more and more of a concern Fowler and Morientes were recalled in attack, while Harry Kewell, Djimi Traore and Daniel Agger also returned.
Liverpool started strongly and had the ball in the back of the net within the first two minutes only for Luis Garcia's close-range tap-in to be disallowed for offside, while Morientes should have done better with a tame effort that was comfortably saved by ex-Reds reserve Tony Warner following intelligent play by Fowler.
A deserved opening strike was not long in coming though and just after the quarter hour mark Fowler drew level with Kop King Kenny Dalglish in the all-time list of Liverpool's top goalscorers when he headed home from close-range after Luis Garcia had flicked on a Harry Kewell corner.
A mixture of delight and relief greeted the goal and with the bit between their teeth the rampant Reds threated to treble their lead almost immediately. Hamann then let fly with a 25-yard dipper that sailed narrowly wide and Morientes fired into the side-netting from a tight angle.
As the home fans revelled in this one-sided affair John then suddenly silenced the Kop with a well-taken equaliser in the 25th minute, sliding the ball through the legs of Pepe Reina after finding space down the right.
It was a goal that initially took the wind out of Liverpool's sails but parity was soon restored courtesy of Cottagers midfielder Brown who put through his own net from inside the six-yard box after Kewell had centered low from the right.
Apart from a couple of scares either side of the break, when Steed Malbranque fired into the side-netting and Zat Knight headed against an upright, the Reds enjoyed almost total control from this point and Garcia was unlucky not to stretch the lead further shortly after the restart when he curled a delightful left footer against the angle of bar and post.
A third goal seemed inevitable and it duly arrived in the 70th minute. Steven Gerrard's cross was headed towards goal by substitute Djibril Cisse - who had just come on to replace the impressive Fowler - and amid the resultant goalmouth scramble Morientes slammed the ball emphatically into the roof of the net from point-blank range.
As the match entered its final stages Benitez made a further two changes and both paid instant dividends. Peter Crouch replaced Morientes and added a fourth goal with an easy finish from a Gerrard pull-back on 89 minutes and Stephen Warnock, on for Kewell, rounded off a highly satisfactory night when he drilled the ball through a crowded penalty area to score his first Liverpool goal and complete a resounding 5-1 success.

3 Questions...

Pemuda :Anda siapa Dan apakah bisa menjawab
pertanyaan-pertanyaan
saya?

berfikir sejauhitu?

Tiba-tiba Kiyai tersebut menampar pipi pemuda tadi
dengan keras.

Pemuda (sambil menahan sakit) :Kenapa anda marah

Kiyai :Bagaimana rasanya tamparan saya?

Pemuda :Tentu saja saya merasakan sakit.

Pemuda :Ya!

Kiyai :Tunjukan pada saya wujud sakit itu!

Pemuda :Saya tidak boleh.

Kiyai :Itulah jawaban pertanyaan pertama...kita
semua merasakan kewujudan Tuhan tanpa mampu melihat wujudnya.

Pemuda : Kulit.

Kiyai : Terbuat dari apa pipi anda?

Pemuda : Kulit.

Kiyai : Bagaimana rasanya tamparan saya?

Pemuda : Sakit.

Bermaafan Dan Berkasih Sayanglah

No Comment - Post a comment

Suatu ketika Rasululah sedang memimpin sholat jamaah.
ia meningkat dewasa, dapatkan ibu membersihkannya?
Harimau tetap menyusukan anaknya, demikian pula binatang buas lainnya. Untuk
itu Rasulullah SAW bersabda; " Tidak sempurna iman kalian sehingga
kalian saling berkasih sayang. "Para sahabat berkata; " Kami sudah saling kasih sayang. "
Sedikit sahaja Rahmat Allah dicabut, hidup
kita akan sengsara. Saluran nafas kita diberi sumbatan sedikit sahaja sudah
kalang kabut hidup kita. Belum lagi jika denyut jantung kita dihentikan
sejenak, maka matilah kita.
memberikan tiga potong roti.
Meskipun diperlakukan sedemikian kasar, Rasulullah tetap pemaaf. Beliau tetap
bersikap lemah lembut. Tidak sedikitpun kemarahan nampak pada wajahnya.

Kecintaannya kepada umat mengubati derita yang dialaminya. Ketika Malaikat Jibril
gunung, beliau justeru menjawab; " Ya Allah, berilah kaumku hidayah, sebab
mereka belum tahu.
Silaunya harta rampasan menguasai keikhlasan mereka. Akibatnya, pasukan kaum muslimin porak-peranda dan Rasulullah SAW terluka. Meski kembali disakiti, cinta Beliau tetap bergema, ?

Semuga Bermanfaat.
Wallahu'alam Bisshawab.
Siapakah aku?
Sekujur tubuh
yang mengembara di bumi
memenuhi janji
menunggu waktu
untuk pulang mengadapMu.

Tuhanku..
Aku masih ingat,
Saat pertama dulu aku belajar mencintaiMu
Lembar demi lembar kitab kupelajari

Aku makin merasakan gelisahku membadai
Dalam cita yang mengawang
Sedang kakiku mengambang,
tiada menjejak bumi
Hingga aku terhempas kedalam jurang
Dan kegelapan..

Wahai Ilaahi,
Kemudian berbilang detik, minit, jam, hari, pekan, bulan, dan
kemudian tahun berlalu..
Aku mencuba merangkak, menggapai permukaan bumi dan menegakkan
jiwaku kembali
Meratap, memohon dan menghibaMu..

Allahu Rahmaan,
Ilaahi Rabbi..
Perkenankanlah aku mencintaiMu,
Semampuku..

Allahu Rahiim,
Ilaahi Rabbi..
Perkenankanlah aku mencintaiMu,
Dengan segala kelemahanku

Ilaahi..
Aku tak sanggup mencintaiMu
Dengan kesabaran menanggung derita Umpama Nabi Ayyub, Musa, Isa,
hingga Al-Musthafa saw.
Kerana itu izinkan aku mencintaiMu
Melalui keluh kesah pengaduanku kepadaMu
Atas derita batin dan jasadku..
Atas sakit dan ketakutanku

Yaa Rabbi,
Aku tak sanggup mencintaiMu seperti Sayyid Abu Bakar ra,
yang menyedekahkan seluruh hartanya
dan hanya meninggalkan Engkau dan RasulMu
bagi diri dan keluarga
Atau layaknya Sayyid Umar ra,
yang menyerahkan separuh harta demi jihad
Atau Sayyid Utsman ra,
yang menyerahkan 1000 ekor kuda untuk syiarkan dienMu ..

Izinkan aku mencintaiMu,
Melalui seratus-dua ratus perak
jambatan,
pada makanan-makanan sederhana yang terkirimke handai taulan..

Ilaahi,
Aku tak sanggup mencintaiMu,
Dengan khusuknya shalat salah seorang sahabat NabiMu,
hingga tiada terasa anak panah musuh terhunjam dikakinya
Kerana itu Ya Allah,
Perkenankanlah aku tertatih menggapai cintaMu,
dalam shalat yang kudirikan terbata-bata,
meski ingatan kadang melayang ke berbagai permasalahan dunia..

Rabbi,

Yaa Rahmaan,
Aku tak sanggup mencintaiMu bagai para hafidz dan hafidzah,
yang menuntaskan kalamMu dalam satu putaran malam
Perkenankanlah aku mencintaiMu,
Melalui selembar-dua lembar tilawah harianku
Lewat lantunan seayat-dua ayat hafalanku

Yaa Rahiim,

patuh mengorbankan pemuda permata hatinya..
Maka izinkanlah aku mencintaiMu didalam segalanya
Izinkanlah aku mencintaiMu
dengan mencintai keluargaku
Dengan mencintai sahabat-sahabatku
Dengan mencintai manusia dan alam semesta

Allahu Rahmaanurrahiim,
Ilaahi Rabbi
Perkenankanlah aku mencintaiMu semampuku
Agar cinta itu mengalun dalam jiwa
Agar cinta ini mengalir di sepanjang nadiku....

Persahabatan

No Comment - Post a comment

4) Hargai pendapat satu sama lain.

7) Jangan biarkan faktor luaran seperti tekanan (stress) menjejaskan persahabatan anda.

Champions League heartbreak

Steven Gerrard has set his Liverpool team-mates the challenge of overcoming their Champions League heartbreak to make sure they are back in the competition next season.
The Reds' defence of their crown ended against Benfica on Wednesday night as they failed to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit and crashed to a 2-0 defeat on the night, despite creating a host of first half chances.

Gerrard admits their failure to score an early goal ultimately proved costly, but he insists there's no time to dwell on the disappointing defeat with a crucial league game to come at Arsenal this weekend.

"The fans were superb tonight and got behind us - but when you are 1-0 down it is important to get a goal," he said.

"We created two or three chances in the first 20 minutes - and when they don't go in and they score you start to worry.

"Good luck to them, but it is very frustrating. We never took our chances - we could not put them away.

"It is a lack of confidence, and I think we need to work on it - extra shooting sessions in training, I think.

"We need to pick ourselves up. The FA cup becomes even more important now; we need a trophy.

"And of course we want to finish the league season strongly because we want to be back in Europe again next year. That's the aim."

European champions came to an end

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez admitted his team paid for their failure to convert chances as their reign as European champions came to an end tonight.

The Reds were beaten 2-0 by Benfica at Anfield to exit 3-0 on aggregate at the last-16 stage of the Champions League.

Benitez said: 'If you analyse the game you can see the chances we created in the first 20 minutes.

'Then we conceded the goal, and we leave more space. In the second half we played with three defenders to try to go forward, and they played good counter-attack. For me, the key was the first 20 minutes.

'I had confidence because we were creating chances; then we made a mistake, and everything changed.

'We had to score a goal before the other team - and if we didn't it would be more difficult.'

Benitez admitted to being 'deeply hurt, very, very disappointed' as his team conceded the Champions League title won so magnificently in Istanbul last May.

This defeat at the last-16 stage was anything but magnificent, as Liverpool's continual problems in front of goal again let them down.

Benitez said: 'What happened was clear. We started well, made chances and then made a bad mistake and conceded a goal. From then on the game changed.

'But I will not blame my strikers. Mistakes were made at the back, and that is why we lost.

'Once we had conceded that first-half goal, we tried to come forward but left gaps and failed to control midfield.

'For the first 20 minutes we were better than them - but when the goals didn't come Benfica improved and played very well.'

They played well enough, in fact, to convince Benitez they are capable of making a bold bid to succeed Liverpool as European champions.

'I believe that they can progress further in the competition. They are organised and play very well on the counter-attack,' he said.

For Liverpool, it is a very different story.

'I had great confidence in my side and I know how much they wanted to retain the trophy,' said the Reds boss.

'You could look at their faces beforehand and know they also believed they could win this time - but their faces now show their hurt.

'I told them that they had the best fans in the world behind them and they owed them a top-class performance.

'I cannot criticise their effort - and I will not criticise individual players, because mistakes were made by the team.'

Liverpool suffered badly because of the late injuries which forced the withdrawals of Sami Hyypia and John Arne Riise from the defence.

Benitez said: 'They were injured, and there is nothing you can do. 'I would prefer not to talk about people who could not play but only the ones who were out there.'

Liverpool squandered a number of chances before Simao Sabrosa - whom Liverpool tried to sign last summer - gave Benfica the lead. Substitute Fabrizio Miccoli added the Portuguese side's second late on.

Benfica coach Ronald Koeman admitted his side rode their luck but felt Liverpool's scoring problems may be down to a mental problem.

Koeman said: 'In the first 30 minutes they played well and had two or three big chances to score - but after that they were less confident.

'We scored the goal from Simao and we played better. In the second half they tried again - but they did not have the opportunities they had in the first half.

'We needed to be lucky. If you are not lucky you cannot beat a team like Liverpool.

'Not only today, but they have a problem to score - maybe it is a mental problem.'

Of his side's chances of winning the competition, Koeman added: 'We can still surprise big teams - but maybe after today the rest of the teams will be more attentive of Benfica.'

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard also highlighted his team's failure to convert chances as the key reason for their defeat.

Gerrard said: 'The fans were superb tonight and got behind us - but when you are 1-0 down it is important to get a goal.

'We created two or three chances in the first 20 minutes - and when they don't go in and they score you start to worry.

'Good luck to them, but it is very frustrating. We never took our chances - we could not put them away.

'It is a lack of confidence, and I think we need to work on it - extra shooting sessions in training, I think.

'We need to pick ourselves up. The FA cup becomes even more important now; we need a trophy.

There are representatives from a large number of ethnic backgrounds present in Qatar allowing for a broad exposure to interesting customs and cultures from around the world. This can be especially valuable for children who mix with a variety of ethnicities in schools.

The work week in Qatar for government offices and most businesses is from Saturday through Wednesday with Thursday and Friday off. However, many businesses have working days from Sunday through Thursday with Friday and Saturday off. Friday is the day of communal prayer for Muslims and is the primary rest day in the country.

The official time in Qatar is GMT+ 3 hours and government offices and large corporations generally operate between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. local time. Numerous local vendors and shops operate on a 'split-shift' system with many working from 7:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m., resuming work from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Language

Arabic is the official language of Qatar and Islam is the official religion with both contributing greatly to the Nation’s cultural identity. The Arab heritage and the Islamic religion are present in the local modes of dress, culinary styles, architecture and art.

English is widely used in everyday life and a majority of businesses are capable of completing transactions and services using English.

Religion

Islam is the official religion of Qatar. The Holy Quran is the Muslim Holy Book and the following, known as the Five Pillars of Islam, are fundamental articles of worship:

The profession of faith
This is the belief that there is no God but ALLAH and Mohammed is the last Messenger of ALLAH.

Prayer
Muslims must pray five times a day before dawn, at midday, in the latter part of the afternoon, at sunset and in the evening. Worshipers face towards the holy city of Mecca while completing their prayers.

The giving of alms (zakat) to the needy
Muslims must give 2.5% of their possessions (cash, gold, etc. kept for one year) in charity to the poor annually.

Fasting: Ramadhan
The month of Ramadhan for Muslims is one month of total abstinence from food, drink and smoking
as well as continence in all other respects from dawn until sunset. It also calls for more prayers and meditation coupled with increased tolerance towards one’s fellow men. The month of Ramadhan is a spiritual exercise in endurance and self-discipline, imposing a considerable physical strain on those who fast, especially in hotter weather.

After a month of prayers, fasting and meditation, Ramadhan culminates in the joyous celebration of Eid Al-Fitr (Breaking of the Fast). Muslims observe a three-day holiday marked by family reunions, social visits and exchange of courtesies and gifts. People meet together and greet one another with the traditional phrase: Eid Mubarak (May your feast be blessed!).

The Pilgrimage to Mecca
Muslims who are of responsible age, in fairly good health, and financially capable must make the pilgrimage (Hajj) to Mecca once in their lifetime.

Non-Muslims should demonstrate the necessary courtesy by refraining from smoking, eating, or drinking in public and in the presence of those who are fasting. Similarly, it is good etiquette to exercise as much tact and forbearance as possible towards the local population in general and one’s colleagues in particular. A high standard of propriety and conduct must be maintained in public at all times and offence can be caused by women and men who are inadequately dressed. During Ramadhan in particular, the appearance of women in public places in sleeveless dresses, miniskirts, split-skirts, shorts, and tight jeans should be avoided and men should also be properly dressed. Social activities and entertainment should be conducted with discretion.
