Rafael Benitez committed his future to Liverpool on Thursday even though he has yet to sign a new contract.
The Spanish manager, a reported target for both Real Madrid and Inter Milan, said: 'I am happy here and I will stay here. I have no problems with being here.
'My aim is to stay here and continue growing with the team and the board,' Benitez told reporters.
'We will try to win the Premiership title next season,' said Benitez, who steered Liverpool to a surprise fifth European Cup success last year in his first season at the club.
'We are talking about my future and we are close (to agreeing a new contract).

But the most important thing is that I want to stay here.
'I have never demanded anything from the board like transfer money. We are working hard with the scouting department and will carry on doing that.'
Benitez admitted he was pleased to see his name linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs.
'When a big club talks about your future, you must be proud and it shows we are doing a good job at Liverpool,' he said.
'If you are a bad manager and not winning trophies people will not talk about you. The talk means Liverpool are doing well.'
Liverpool's board are trying to find new investors to help fund more signings.
Benitez has made it known he wants to bring new faces to Anfield as he rebuilds the team.
'The board know I want to improve and are trying to find some investors. If we have investors it will be better.'
